"In ancient Ireland there was a saying, 'Three equals: a king, a harper, and a poet.'  The poet had been trained to step in a crucial times of difficulty and through extemporaneous speech bring a sense and clarity to the confusion of the moment, and through that give the people some sense of their beckoning collective future." (David Whyte, The Heart Aroused.)  Bringing sense and clarity is also the work of the consultant.

Chris brings a unique combination of business and psychological expertise, including systems analysis, behavioral science training, and twenty-three years experience consulting within a Fortune 500 energy utility and several years as an independent consultant. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado.

What is Organization Development (OD)?

Organization Development is an organization-wide, planned effort, managed from the top, to increase organization effectiveness and health through planned interventions in the organization’s processes, using behavioral-science knowledge. - Richard Beckhard, Organization Development: Strategies and Models

What is Ecopsychology?

Ecopsychology is both the skillful application of ecological insight to the practice of psychotherapy and the skillful application of psychological insight to issues of sustainability. It is based on the understanding that a person or society cannot be sane or whole without a respectful, reciprocal relationship with the Earth and all its beings.
